Microsoft 365 OneDrive default retention for deleted users

Microsoft 365 OneDrive has a default retention of 30 days for users that have been marked for deletion but this can be changed to up to 10 years from the OneDrive admin panel.

This can also be found by logging in to www.office.com with an account that can access and change these settings. and going too "Admin" and then "All Admin Centres" and selecting "OneDrive", or by going to the SharePoint admin.
