How to Use Microsoft Edge Workspaces:

Ensure Prerequisites:

To start using Edge Workspaces, make sure you have an Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) tenant and Microsoft Edge version 114 or later installed. For administrators managing workspaces via group policy, the corresponding versions of Microsoft Edge and policy files are required.

Enabling Edge Workspaces:

Edge Workspaces are enabled for users signed in with an Azure AD account on Microsoft Edge version 114 or later. Admins can manage Edge Workspaces for their users by utilizing the EdgeWorkspacesEnabled policy.

Creating and Sharing Workspaces:

To create a workspace, open Microsoft Edge and go to the Workspaces menu. Click on "Create new" and add the desired tabs and favorites to the workspace. Once created, you can share the workspace with team members by sending them the workspace link.

Collaboration and Real-Time Updates:

When users access a shared workspace, they can view the same websites and working files as their colleagues. Each member's active tab is visible to others, facilitating real-time collaboration. Any updates made to the workspace are reflected instantaneously for all users, ensuring seamless teamwork.

Microsoft Edge integrated Bing chat in to version 111 or higher

Microsoft has been busy updating its products with AI-powered features lately. One of the most notable updates is the integration of Bing chat into its Edge web browser. Bing chat is an AI-powered chatbot that can help you with various tasks, such as searching the web, composing emails, generating content and more.

Bing chat is accessible from a sidebar in Edge, which you can hide or show by hovering over the Bing icon in the toolbar . You can also pin the sidebar to keep it open. Once you open the sidebar, you can start chatting with Bing by typing your message or query in the text box.

Bing chat uses ChatGPT, a state-of-the-art natural language generation model that can produce fluent and coherent texts on various topics. ChatGPT can also understand your context and intent, and provide relevant and helpful responses.

One of the features of Bing chat is Edge "Compose" , which allows you to use AI to help you create content for emails, blogs, social media posts and more. You can simply ask Bing chat to write something for you based on your specifications, such as topic, tone, style and length. For example, you can ask Bing chat to write a short summary of a news article or a catchy caption for an Instagram post.

Another feature of Bing chat is AI Insights, which provides you with useful information and suggestions based on your browsing activity. For example, if you are shopping online for a product, Bing chat can show you reviews, ratings, price comparisons and other relevant details. If you are reading an article or watching a video online, Bing chat can show you related content, facts and trivia.

The latest update to Edge that brings in Bing chat is part of Microsoft's vision to bring AI into everyday life. By integrating Bing chat into its web browser, Microsoft hopes to provide users with a more engaging and personalized browsing experience.

Microsoft Edge Side bar

 Microsoft has added a new sidebar to its Edge browser which allows you to discover related items on the site you are visiting, access to some tools a little easier, access your office applications, your emails, and also panic you in to thinking you have a browser hijacker when it magickly enabled itself for the first time.

It's actually growing on me the more I explore it but still.

If you wish to remove it you can press Control + Shift + / or press the following button on the side bar itself

It also a toggle just below the settings option too (3 dots) at the top right

Clear your cache in Microsoft Edge

 When in Edge press Ctrl, shift and del and it will take you straight to the opinion.  

Or you can go to the 3 dots in the top left followed by settings, then "Privacy, search, and services".  where you will see a button called "Choose what to clear"
